About Cladbe: The PropTech OSWe are not building another clunky real estate CRM. We are building Cladbe — a PropTech Operating System designed to become the operational backbone of the Indian real estate industry.The Indian real estate market runs on fragmented tools, stale data, and heavy operational leakage. Cladbe replaces that with a single integrated platform: the builder's internal operations (the Cladbe OS) connected directly to a unified distribution network (Property.new and our Channel Partner platform).We are headquartered in Bareilly, where we are finalizing our MVP and hardening our infrastructure ahead of our commercial launch in Delhi-NCR. We're looking for a Backend Engineer to join the core engineering team and build infrastructure that stays fast and reliable under heavy concurrent load — including high-demand booking events where downtime is not an option.The Mission: Building the OS for Indian Real EstateAs a Core Backend Engineer, your code will be the source of truth for real estate transactions worth crores. You won't build features in isolation — you'll build systems where everything connects. When a sale closes in our CRM, it automatically triggers financial demand letters, verifies construction invoices, and updates live inventory across the platform. That integration is the product.What You'll DoBuild the core APIs: Design and scale stateless Node.js services that power the business logic of the Cladbe OS.Own data integrity: Maintain strict database integrity in PostgreSQL — our financial source of truth — and run the real-time Inventory Matrix on Redis (DragonflyDB).Engineer for concurrency: Build robust concurrency controls that prevent double-bookings during high-volume booking events.Orchestrate workflows: Build event-driven architectures and payment and settlement workflows using Kafka, Hatchet, and RabbitMQ.Optimize for bare metal: Deploy and tune services on bare-metal Kubernetes clusters, where resource efficiency directly matters.The StackBackend: Node.js, TypeScript, Express/NestJSDatabases: PostgreSQL (with pgvector), DragonflyDB (Redis-compatible — caching and distributed locks)Graphs: JanusGraph on Cassandra — experience with graph databases is a strong plusMessaging & Orchestration: Kafka (event bus), Hatchet + RabbitMQ (workflow orchestration)Auth & Notifications: FirebaseObservability: SigNoz + ClickHouse (traces, metrics, logs)What We're Looking ForSolid backend experience building scalable, distributed systems.You understand that a crash during a live real estate launch is unacceptable — you design for resilience and graceful degradation, not just the happy path.You're comfortable working in a lean, focused engineering team in Bareilly as we build toward national scale.You think like an owner.
