Back End Developer

The company is driven by a vision to end financial traps and empower people across India to take control of their money and build a more secure financial future.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Back End Developer role based in New Delhi. The Back End Developer will design, build, and maintain scalable server-side applications and APIs that power BillCut’s financial products. Responsibilities include developing robust backend services, integrating with third-party systems and financial partners, optimizing application performance, and ensuring data security and reliability. The role involves collaborating closely with front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions, as well as writing clean, testable code and participating in code reviews. The Back End Developer will also contribute to continuous improvement of the platform’s architecture and development processes.Qualifications Strong Back-End Web Development and Software Development skills, with experience building scalable, secure web applications.Proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and general Programming concepts, including data structures and algorithms.Familiarity with Front-End Development fundamentals to effectively collaborate with UI/UX and front-end teams.Experience with server-side frameworks and languages (e.g., Node.js, Java, Python, or similar), RESTful APIs, and microservices architectures.Knowledge of relational and/or NoSQL databases, query optimization, and data modeling.Understanding of security best practices, authentication/authorization, and secure handling of financial data.Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Ability to work on-site in New Delhi, collaborate in cross-functional teams, and communicate clearly in a fast-paced environment.
