Working Days: Monday to FridayWorking Hours: UAE Time ZoneExperience Level: 5+ years of professional backend development experienceRole Purpose:The Backend Developer is responsible for designing, building and maintaining robust, secure and scalable backend services using .NET and .NET Core, as part of the technology team supporting the digital healthcare platforms.This role requires strong command of modern .NET backend fundamentals, microservices architecture, API security and cloud-native delivery practices.Key Responsibilities:Apply a strong understanding of .NET Core fundamentals, including Dependency Injection (DI) and Inversion of Control (IoC), the middleware pipeline, and Entity Framework Core data access.Apply deep knowledge of ASP.NET Core fundamentals to build robust, maintainable backend services.Design and develop microservices architecture using .NET Core, following established best practices.Implement security features using ASP.NET Core Identity, covering authentication, authorization and related security best practices.Develop RESTful APIs using ASP.NET Core MVC in line with API design standards.Secure APIs using OAuth2 and JWT, managing user authentication and authorization end-to-end.Apply advanced skills in Entity Framework Core and related data access components and services.Integrate .NET applications with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, supporting continuous delivery.Required Technical Skills:.NET, .NET CoreASP.NET Core MVC and RESTful APIsMicroservices ArchitectureEntity Framework CoreASP.NET Core Identity (authentication & authorization)OAuth2 and JWT for API securityAPI ManagementKubernetesSQL, Cosmos DBOWASP application security best practicesAzure DevOps (CI/CD pipelines)Qualifications & Competencies:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.5+ years of hands-on backend development experience using .NET technologies.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Fluency in English required.
