Back End Developer - MERN

By offering on-demand, shift-based, and longer-term workforce solutions, Factrika supports business continuity and productivity across diverse industrial environments.Role Description The Back End Developer - MERN will work on designing, building, and maintaining server-side applications and APIs that power Factrika’s industrial workforce platform. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing scalable backend services using Node.js and Express, integrating databases, optimizing performance, and ensuring secure data handling and authentication. The role involves close collaboration with front-end developers to deliver seamless end-to-end features, troubleshooting issues in production, and contributing to architectural decisions and code reviews. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Delhi, India, requiring regular coordination with product, operations, and QA teams to support new features and system improvements.QualificationsCandidates should possess 3+ years of experience and strong skills in Back-End Web Development and Software Development, with hands-on experience using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js) for production-grade applications.Candidates should possess basic Front-End Development skills to collaborate effectively with UI engineers, understand client-side requirements, and ensure smooth integration between front-end and back-end components.Candidates should possess experience with databases (SQL and/or NoSQL), version control systems such as Git, and familiarity with deployment, monitoring, and debugging in cloud or on-premise environments.Candidates should possess strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and effective communication skills, with the capacity to work in cross-functional teams in a fast-paced industrial tech environment.A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field,Prior experience in building scalable platforms or workforce/operations-related products is a plus.
