Backend AI EngineerLocation: San Francisco, CA (Hybrid)Duration: 6 Months ContractWe are seeking an experienced Backend AI Engineer to build and scale AI-powered applications, intelligent automation platforms, and cloud-native backend services.Key Skills• 5+ years of Python backend development experience• FastAPI, Flask, REST APIs, Microservices, Distributed Systems• Hands-on experience with Generative AI and LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, etc.)• Experience building RAG solutions, semantic search, and AI agents• Knowledge of Vector Databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, Chroma, FAISS, Milvus)• Experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, or LangGraph• AI observability, evaluation, and monitoring experience• Cloud platforms: AWS, GCP, or Azure• Docker, CI/CD, and DevOps best practicesPreferred• Vertex AI, CrewAI, or Agentic AI frameworks• Data Engineering/ETL experience• React.js knowledge is a plus
