Termgrid is the platform that changes all of that — and we're just getting started.What You’ll DoDesign, develop, and own microservice-based backend applications using Java and Spring BootBuild APIs and platforms that serve multiple financial workflows and transaction types, ensuring scalability and flexibilityImplement event-driven architectures for systems like deal lifecycle management, document generation, and notification pipelinesIntegrate intelligent capabilities such as automated term sheet parsing, deal analytics, and workflow recommendationsCollaborate closely with product, frontend, DevOps, and data teams to bridge real-time and asynchronous system interactionsDesign efficient database schemas (MySQL), optimize data flows, and maintain consistency across distributed servicesMonitor, optimize, and scale backend services for performance, reliability, and high availabilityParticipate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and innovation sprints to continuously raise the engineering barWhat We’re Looking For2-5 years of backend development experience using Java and Spring BootStrong understanding of microservices architecture and REST API design principlesProficiency in MySQL — schema design, complex queries, indexing, and performance optimizationExperience with event-driven systems and message brokers (Kafka or similar)Familiarity with caching strategies (Redis, Memcached) and scalable system designSolid foundation in object-oriented programming, design patterns, and clean code principlesExperience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud deployments (AWS or GCP)Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to own features end-to-endRemote-friendly flexibility with a high-performance, async-first cultureWork from home set upWe may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses and identifying potential inconsistencies or verification signals in application materials based on available information.
