Backend Engineer

You will work closely with front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth integration and high performance across our platforms. Your deep understanding of backend technologies will be essential in building reliable systems, improving performance, and supporting the success of our products. This is a great opportunity to make a real impact while working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.Key Responsibilities:Design and implement scalable and secure backend architectures.Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices using Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, etc.).Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and deliver high-quality software.Optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues in a timely manner.Implement data storage solutions, including databases and caching mechanisms.Ensure code quality through best practices, code reviews, and automated testing.Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in backend development.Coordinate with engineers and contribute to a culture of continuous learning.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.3+ years of hands-on experience in Java development.Strong proficiency in core Java concepts, including object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms. Experience with databases (SQL and NoSQL) and data modeling.Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, EKS, ECS etc).Understanding of security best practices and performance optimization techniques.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with message brokers and event-driven architectures (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka).Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practice with github actions or bitbucket pipelines of any of source code and deployment pipelinesKnowledge of frontend technologies (React, Angular, etc.) is a plus.Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
