Backend Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join our global product team, responsible for building, operating, and scaling backend systems that power our mobile and web products. You will work closely with Senior Mobile Developers, Frontend Engineers, UI/UX Designers, and Product Managers to deliver secure, high-performance, and user-centric products for international users.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java or Golang.Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirement analysis, system design, development, deployment, and maintenance.Collaborate closely with Mobile and Frontend teams to deliver end-to-end product features.Design and maintain RESTful APIs, handle data exchange using JSON, and integrate third-party services.Ensure backend systems meet high standards of performance, security, scalability, and reliability.Implement logging, monitoring, and error-handling mechanisms to support stable production environments.Write clean, maintainable, and testable code; perform code reviews and refactoring when necessary.Support release planning and deployment processes across development, staging, and production environments.Research and apply new backend technologies, tools, and best practices to continuously improve product quality and development efficiency.Prepare technical documentation and provide progress updates to stakeholders when required.RequirementsAt least 5 years of hands-on experience with one of the following backend technologies: Java or Golang.Strong understanding of backend architecture, system design, design patterns, and scalable application development.Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, authentication/authorization, and third-party integrations.Experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis).Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in global, cross-functional product teams.Strong problem-solving skills with attention to performance, security, and scalability.English: Able to read/write technical documentation and participate in work-related discussions.Nice to HaveExperience with microservices architecture, message queues, or event-driven systems.Familiarity with cloud platforms, containerization (Docker), or CI/CD pipelines.Experience working in Agile/Scrum product environments.Exposure to system monitoring, observability, and performance tuning.Why Join Us • Work on diverse and impactful software projects across multiple domains. • Professional and collaborative work environment with opportunities to grow. • Access to continuous training and career development programs. • Competitive salary and benefits package. • Competitive salary, negotiable based on skills and experience. • Opportunity to work on diverse projects and up-to-date technologies. • Friendly and professional engineering team. • Full benefits according to Vietnamese labor law.
