Backend Engineer

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.Minimum 2–4 years of experience as a Backend Engineer/Software Engineer.Strong proficiency in Golang (Go) and/or Python (Django).Hands-on experience developing RESTful APIs, microservices, and backend applications.Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and Redis, including database design, query optimization, and caching mechanisms.Experience with Git and software development best practices.Familiarity with API integration, authentication, authorization, and data security.Experience working in banking, financial services, fintech, or other regulated industries is highly preferred.Understanding of banking-related systems such as payment processing, transaction systems, account services, or financial APIs is an advantage.Familiarity with security, data privacy, audit trails, and regulatory requirements in the banking/financial industry.Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with Product, QA, DevOps, and other technical teams.
