The company leverages its fine-tuned open-source foundation model, Sustaining.AI, which functions as an ESG expert via chat and underpins a Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) architecture for processing sustainability data and automating carbon measurement, reporting, and validation tasks.Position: Backend Engineer – Work From Office (Noida)We are seeking a talented Backend Engineer with a passion for building high-performance web applications to be an integral part of our dynamic team. This full-time role, based in our Noida office, will focus on crafting exceptional front-end and back-end solutions using modern frameworks and cloud technologies.Responsibilities:Backend Development: Design, develop, and maintain responsive web API interfaces using NodeJS/FastAPI for the back-end.Cloud & DevOps: Deploy, manage, and scale applications on AWS, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability. Monitor and maintain Linux-based servers and cloud services.Agile Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams—including designers, product managers, and data scientists—to deliver innovative features in an agile environment.Code Quality & Automation: Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code while adhering to best practices. Implement testing strategies, automation pipelines, and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD).Troubleshooting & Optimization: Identify and resolve technical issues, optimize application performance, and ensure high responsiveness and user experience.Documentation & Collaboration: Maintain thorough documentation of code, systems, and processes, and participate in code reviews to improve overall quality.Qualifications:Educational Background: B.Tech/M.Tech in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.Solid experience with back-end development using NodeJS and/or FastAPI.Proven ability to develop and maintain applications on Linux systems.Hands-on experience with AWS DevOps tools, containerization, and CI/CD pipelines.Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills with a commitment to writing clean and optimized code.Team Player: Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset in an agile work environment.Preferred: Experience with microservices architecture, RESTful API design, or developing agent-based workflows will be considered a plus.If you are passionate about building cutting-edge technologies that drive sustainability and innovation, we encourage you to apply and be a part of our mission to make a positive environmental impact.Apply now and join us in shaping the future of sustainable technology at EcoRatings!
