Backend Engineer Odoo / ERP

Role Overview:We're seeking a Backend Engineer with hands-on Odoo/ERP experience to support the internal operations and integrations layer. This role focuses on customizing, extending, and integrating Odoo modules with our broader platform.

Responsibilities

Develop, customize, and maintain Odoo modules (Python) to support internal business processes.Build integrations between Odoo and our core platform via REST APIs.Manage Odoo upgrades, data migrations, and module configuration.Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements for ERP workflows (finance, inventory, CRM, HR, etc.as applicable).Troubleshoot and resolve issues across Odoo's ORM, views, workflows, and reporting layers.Write clean, testable, documented code and participate in code reviews.

Requirements

5+ years of backend development experience, with direct hands-on Odoo/ERP work.Strong Python skills, including experience with Odoo's ORM and module architecture.Experience with Odoo XML views, QWeb templates, and workflow/automation rules.Familiarity with PostgreSQL (Odoo's underlying database).Understanding of REST API integration patterns.Comfortable working independently within an Agile/Scrum team.Nice to Have:Experience with Odoo Studio, Odoo.sh, or self-hosted Odoo deployments.Background integrating ERP systems with external SaaS platforms.Exposure to healthcare, wellness, or subscription-based business models.
