The bakery encourages collaboration, continuous learning, and attention to detail in all aspects of its operations.Role Description The Baker role at Glutterra is a full-time, on-site position based in Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates. The Baker will prepare and bake a variety of products, including breads, cookies, pastries, and other baked goods, following established recipes and production schedules. Day-to-day tasks include mixing doughs and batters, monitoring oven temperatures and baking times, decorating and finishing baked items, and ensuring proper storage of ingredients. The Baker will maintain clean and organized workstations, adhere to food safety and hygiene standards, assist with inventory and ordering, and collaborate with the team to meet customer and business needs. This role also involves occasionally developing new recipes or improving existing ones to expand the product range.Qualifications Strong skills in bakery operations, including Baking and Food Preparation.Ability to prepare and produce a variety of Bread products to consistent quality standards.Experience in making Cookies and similar baked goods with attention to taste and presentation.Knowledge of basic kitchen safety, food hygiene, and handling procedures.Prior experience in a commercial bakery or food service environment is highly beneficial.Ability to work on-site, stand for extended periods, and handle moderate physical tasks.Good time management, reliability, and the ability to follow recipes and production plans accurately.Willingness to work early mornings, weekends, or holidays as needed.
