The Baker is responsible for preparing, mixing, and baking a variety of products such as bread, cookies, and other baked items according to established recipes and standards. Daily tasks include measuring ingredients, operating baking equipment, monitoring oven temperatures, and ensuring products are consistently fresh, visually appealing, and of high quality. The role also involves maintaining a clean and safe work area, organizing inventory of ingredients, and supporting the team during peak production times. The Baker is expected to follow food safety guidelines, collaborate with colleagues, and contribute ideas for new products or improvements.Qualifications Strong practical skills in Bakery and Baking, with experience producing consistent, high-quality baked goods.Hands-on experience in Food Preparation, including measuring ingredients, mixing, and handling doughs and batters.Ability to prepare a range of products such as Cookies and Bread, following recipes and production schedules.Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards, including safe storage and handling of ingredients.Attention to detail, time-management skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Willingness to work early shifts, weekends, or holidays as needed to support bakery operations.Previous experience in a commercial bakery or food production setting is highly beneficial.Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and operate baking equipment safely.
