Bakery & Pastry Lead

We're building a new bakery brand in the UAE — and looking for the founding chef to create it. 🥐This isn't a "join our kitchen" role. It's a "build the brand from a blank page" role.We're looking for a Pastry Chef / Bakery Chef to lead R&D on a brand-new bakery concept launching in the UAE — then step into the role of Business Lead once it's up and running.In the first phase, you'll: Develop the entire product range — viennoiserie, bread, patisserie — from first test to commercial-ready. Set specs, costings, and production workflow. Work directly with founders on brand, pricing, and go-to-market. Lead the pilot, soft launch, and openingOnce we're live, you'll: Own day-to-day operations and P&L for the brand. Build and lead the kitchen team. Drive ongoing product innovation and brand growth.Help shape what comes next — new sites, new channels, new formatsYou're a fit if you:Have 5+ years in bakery/patisserie, including experience developing a menu or concept from scratchThink beyond the kitchen — comfortable with margins, suppliers, and operations, not just recipesWant to build something you can point to as yours, not just run someone else's kitchenAvailable to travel Are based in the UAE or ready to relocateThis is a rare chance to shape a bakery brand from day one and grow with it as a business leader, not just a chef.
