Production Associates work across different areas of production, including dough preparation, rolling and shaping, fillings, icings and glazes, baking, frying, finishing, packaging, prep, and cleaning.Previous bakery or kitchen experience is preferred, but not required. We are willing to train the right person. What matters most to us is reliability, work ethic, speed, cleanliness, attention to detail, and the ability to follow our recipes and production standards consistently.ResponsibilitiesPrepare, mix, portion, roll, shape, fill, and cut dough according to Co-Dough recipes and specificationsWork with cinnamon bun dough, brioche, and other bakery productsPrepare fillings, icings, glazes, and other bakery components according to Co-Dough recipes and proceduresAccurately weigh and measure ingredients and follow recipes and procedures exactlyPrepare ingredients and components needed for upcoming productionAssist with proofing, baking, frying, finishing, and packaging products as trainedMaintain consistent product weights, sizes, appearance, texture, and qualityFollow daily production sheets, assigned quantities, priorities, and deadlinesComplete assigned production tasks within established time expectationsLoad, unload, and organize sheet pans, racks, bins, ingredients, and bakery equipmentProperly label, date, rotate, and store ingredients and prepared productsFollow FIFO procedures and all food-storage requirementsMaintain a clean and organized workstation throughout the entire shiftClean as you go and reset workstations after completing production tasksWash, sanitize, and properly store equipment, tools, bins, sheet pans, utensils, and other production suppliesComplete assigned production cleaning, organization, opening, and closing responsibilitiesSweep, mop, remove trash, break down boxes, and maintain clean production and storage areasRestock ingredients and production supplies before they run outFollow all food-safety, sanitation, allergen, and workplace-safety proceduresImmediately communicate issues involving product quality, ingredients, inventory, equipment, or productionAssist other members of the production team as needed to ensure daily production is completed correctly and on timePerform additional bakery production responsibilities as assignedWhat We're Looking ForThe right person for this position is:Reliable and punctualHardworking and willing to learnComfortable working in a fast-paced production environmentAble to work with urgency while maintaining accuracy and qualityAble to follow recipes, procedures, and instructions exactlyDetail-oriented and focused on consistencyClean and organized while workingComfortable receiving feedback and being trained on Co-Dough's specific production methodsAble to work independently once properly trainedA team player who is willing to help wherever neededAble to stay focused and productive throughout the shiftComfortable performing repetitive production tasksComfortable being on their feet for the majority of the shiftAble to safely lift and move bakery ingredients, equipment, racks, bins, and suppliesExperiencePrevious experience in a bakery, commercial kitchen, restaurant, food-production facility, or similar environment is preferred but not required for the right candidate.Formal culinary or pastry education is not required.We care most about reliability, work ethic, speed, cleanliness, attention to detail, consistency, and the ability to follow our systems and recipes exactly.Production & Quality StandardsConsistency is extremely important at Co-Dough. Depending on the production position, shifts may also include daytime, evening, or overnight hours.Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential for this position because each stage of production depends on work being completed correctly and on schedule.Physical RequirementsThis is an active, hands-on production position.
