Bakery Staff – Supermarket

Job Title: Bakery Staff – SupermarketJob DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced and motivated Bakery Staff Member to join our supermarket team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing, baking, displaying, and selling bakery products while ensuring high standards of quality, freshness, hygiene, and customer service.Key Responsibilities- Prepare and bake a variety of bakery products, including bread, pastries, croissants, and other baked goods.- Arrange, replenish, and maintain attractive bakery product displays.- Ensure all bakery products meet quality and freshness standards.- Assist customers with product selection, inquiries, and orders.- Monitor product expiry dates and remove expired or damaged items.- Maintain proper storage and handling of bakery ingredients and finished products.- Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment when necessary.- Minimize product wastage and maintain proper stock rotation (FIFO).- Keep bakery counters, equipment, and work areas clean and organized.- Follow food safety, hygiene, and supermarket operational standards.- Operate bakery equipment safely and efficiently.- Support daily bakery operations and other assigned duties.Requirements- Previous experience working in a supermarket bakery department or commercial bakery is preferred.- Basic knowledge of bakery products, preparation, and baking techniques.- Experience in product display, packaging, and customer service.- Good understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.- Ability to operate bakery equipment safely.- Good communication and teamwork skills.- Ability to work in a fast-paced supermarket environment.- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.Work Location: UAE – Sharjah / Dubai
