This role is responsible for executing production during evening and overnight hours to ensure orders are ready for daily distribution. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, team-driven kitchen environment and takes pride in consistency, organization, and craftsmanship.ResponsibilitiesExecute evening or overnight production of wholesale baked goods according to daily and weekly schedulesPrepare ingredients, assemble products, and bake items following standardized recipes and proceduresCollaborate and communicate effectively with the Back of House Manager and your shift teamOperate bakery equipment safely and efficiently, including mixers, ovens, and other production toolsMonitor product quality throughout the baking process and make adjustments as neededMaintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment in compliance with food safety standardsEnsure proper storage, labeling, and shelf-life management of all productsWork with urgency and accuracy to meet production deadlines and quality expectationsPerform additional tasks as assigned based on production and business needsRequirements1-2 years of baking or pastry experience preferred, but not requiredUnderstanding of proper pastry methods, techniques, and industry standardsFood Handler's Card requiredA strong interest in high-quality baked goods and the food industryExcellent time management and ability to meet deadlines efficientlyAbility to lift up to 25 lbs frequently and 50-75 lbs occasionallyA keen eye for detail and quality controlOpen availability and schedule flexibility requiredComfortable working evening or overnight hours, including early-morning shiftsBenefitsA dynamic team environment where collaboration is keyOpportunity to work at a growing local bakery known for its high-quality productsEligible for benefits the 1st of the month following 60 days of full-time employmentReady to Get Baking?If you're excited about bringing your baking skills to Too Sweet Cakes, we can't wait to meet you!
