The organization focuses on customer-centric solutions, compliant operations, and sustainable growth, offering opportunities for professionals to build long-term careers in the banking sector.Role Description The Bank Relationship Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru South, responsible for managing and growing relationships with retail and SME customers. The role involves understanding customer financial needs, promoting appropriate banking products and services, and ensuring high levels of service and satisfaction. Day-to-day responsibilities include handling customer queries, facilitating account opening and maintenance, cross-selling loans, deposits, cards, and investment products, and proactively engaging with customers to deepen relationships. The Bank Relationship Manager will collaborate with branch teams to meet sales and service targets, maintain compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements, and prepare regular reports on portfolio performance and customer engagement. This role requires frequent face-to-face interaction with customers and coordination with internal stakeholders to deliver a seamless banking experience.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong customer relationship and service skills, including active listening, problem-solving, and professional communication.Candidates should possess skills in sales and business development, such as cross-selling, upselling, and achieving portfolio growth targets.Candidates should possess sound knowledge of retail banking products, SME banking offerings, and basic credit and risk concepts.Candidates should possess skills in data interpretation and reporting, including maintaining customer records, tracking performance metrics, and using banking systems effectively.Candidates should possess teamwork and collaboration skills to work effectively with branch staff, product teams, and support functions.Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, commerce, or a related field; relevant banking or financial services certifications are an advantage.Prior experience in relationship management, branch banking, or financial services is preferred, especially in a customer-facing role.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adhere to compliance and regulatory standards, and adapt quickly to new products and processes.Comfortable communicating in English and local languages used in Bengaluru South, with strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
