The Bank Teller will handle daily cash transactions, including lodgements, withdrawals, and payments, while ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities include processing deposits, managing teller operations, issuing receipts, balancing cash drawers, and resolving routine account queries. The role also involves providing information on EBS products and services, referring customers to appropriate colleagues when needed, and supporting branch sales and service initiatives. The Bank Teller will work as part of a team to maintain high service standards, safeguard customer data, and contribute to a positive branch environment.Qualifications:Demonstrated proficiency in Teller Operations and Deposits, with the ability to follow established procedures and controls.Strong Cash Handling skills, including accurate counting, reconciliation, and fraud awareness.Effective Communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact clearly with customers and colleagues.Customer Service experience, with a focus on empathy, problem-solving, and maintaining professionalism in busy environments.Previous experience in banking, financial services, or retail cash-handling roles is an advantage.Attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work to targets and timelines.Comfort with basic computer systems and banking software; willingness to learn new tools and processes.Relevant education in business, finance, or a related field is beneficial, though equivalent experience is also valued.
