Banker

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Banker role located in Tampa, FL. The Banker will handle day-to-day customer-facing activities, including opening and servicing accounts, processing deposits and withdrawals, and assisting clients with banking products such as loans, credit lines, and savings plans. The role involves providing guidance on financial solutions, addressing customer inquiries, and ensuring accurate, compliant transaction processing. The Banker will collaborate with internal teams to resolve account issues, support risk and compliance procedures, and contribute to sales and cross-selling initiatives. Daily responsibilities also include maintaining detailed records, using banking software systems, and upholding high standards of customer service and confidentiality.QualificationsSolid customer service and client relationship skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally in person and over the phone.Knowledge of banking products and services, including deposits, loans, and credit, and the ability to explain financial options in simple terms.Strong numerical aptitude, attention to detail, and accuracy in handling cash, transactions, and financial records.Familiarity with banking software systems, basic computer applications, and data entry processes.Understanding of regulatory, compliance, and security requirements in a financial services environment.Ability to work on-site in Tampa, FL, collaborate with team members, and adapt to a fast-paced branch setting.Prior experience in banking, finance, or customer-facing financial services is preferred.Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field is beneficial, or equivalent relevant experience.
