In this position, the Banker will assist customers with everyday banking needs, including opening and servicing accounts, processing transactions, and answering questions about products and services. The role involves providing personalized financial guidance, identifying customer needs, and recommending appropriate solutions such as savings options, credit products, and digital banking tools. The Banker will build and maintain strong customer relationships, follow regulatory and compliance requirements, and collaborate with team members to meet branch goals. The role also includes maintaining accurate records, handling cash responsibly, and supporting a positive, inclusive customer experience at the branch.Qualifications Previous experience in banking, financial services, or a customer-facing role that involves handling transactions and providing account support.Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to explain financial products and processes clearly and respectfully.Attention to detail and accuracy in cash handling, documentation, and compliance with banking regulations and security procedures.Ability to use banking systems, digital tools, and basic office software to manage customer accounts and daily operations.Problem-solving skills and sound judgment when assisting customers with financial decisions or resolving issues.Ability to work on-site in Burlingame, CA, as part of a collaborative team, and to adapt to changing customer and branch needs.High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in finance, business, or related fields is a plus.Familiarity with personal banking products, lending basics, and financial literacy concepts preferred.
