SHG operates 112 properties in 26 countries with a commitment to deliver authentic and diverse hospitality experiences that bring people together, all around the world.We are seeking passionate and service-driven Barback to join our award-winning Lifestyle Dining brands e.g. SUSHISAMBA, Signor Sassi, L’AMO.As a key member of our Front-of-House team, you will lead by example in delivering exceptional guest experiences while inspiring and supporting your team to uphold the highest standards of luxury hospitality.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport Head Bartenders, Bartender and Bar Managers throughout service to ensure smooth bar operations.Maintain a fully stocked bar with spirits, wines, beers, mixers, garnishes, glassware, ice, and other essentials of service.Replenish stock efficiently during service while minimizing disruption to guests and bartenders.Prepare and maintain garnishes, fruits, mixers, and other bar mise en place according to standards.Ensure all glassware, bar tools, equipment, and workstations are clean and properly organized.Assists with the collection, washing, polishing, and replenishment of glassware were required.Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, back bar, storage areas, and service stations.Assist with receiving, moving, storing, and rotating beverage products in accordance with company procedures.Support bartenders during high-volume service while maintaining speed, organization, and attention to detail.Assist with opening and closing procedures, including cleaning, restocking, and preparation for the next service.Follow all company standards relating to hygiene, health & safety, grooming, and responsible beverage service.Ideal Candidate RequirementsMinimum 2 years of experience as a Barback, Bar Assistant, Commis Bartender, or similar role.Previous experience within a luxury restaurant, cocktail bar, fine dining venue, five-star hotel, beach club, or luxury lifestyle concept is strongly preferred.Experience with a recognized international hospitality brand is an advantage.Previous experience in Dubai or other leading international hospitality markets is desirable.Basic knowledge of spirits, wines, beers, cocktails, mixers, and bar equipment.Understanding of bar mise en place and professional beverage service standards.Good English communication skills; additional languages are an advantage.Energetic, proactive, and physically fit, with the ability to work long periods on your feet.Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail.Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a high-volume environment.Naturally service-minded with a positive and professional attitude.Excellent personal presentation and impeccable grooming standards.
