Role DescriptionA Bar Manager is responsible for managing daily bar operations, supervising staff, controlling inventory and costs, and maintaining high standards of service, quality, hygiene, and customer satisfaction.Key ResponsibilitiesManage daily bar operations and ensure smooth service.Supervise, train, and schedule bar staff.Maintain beverage quality, presentation, and customer-service standards.Manage inventory, stock levels, ordering, and storage.Monitor beverage costs, wastage, sales, and operating expenses.Coordinate with suppliers and manage beverage purchasing.Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, health, and safety standards.Handle customer feedback, complaints, and service issues.Monitor staff attendance, performance, and workplace conduct.Prepare sales, inventory, and operational reports.Coordinate with restaurant, kitchen, events, finance, and management teams.Support promotions, special events, and beverage programs.Identify opportunities to improve sales, service quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.QualificationsDiploma or Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Business Administration, or a related field.Previous bar, restaurant, hotel, or food-and-beverage management experience.Strong knowledge of bar operations, beverage service, inventory, and cost control.Strong leadership, communication, organization, and team-management skills.Good customer-service and problem-solving abilities.Familiarity with POS systems and inventory software.Knowledge of hygiene, health, and safety requirements.Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.Professional, energetic, responsible, organized, and customer-focused.
