Role DescriptionA Bar Manager / Property Officer is responsible for overseeing bar operations while supporting the management, maintenance, and administration of the property. The role ensures efficient daily operations, excellent customer service, proper facility maintenance, staff coordination, and compliance with company and safety standards.Key ResponsibilitiesManage daily bar operations and property-related activities.Supervise, train, and coordinate bar and property-support staff.Ensure high standards of customer service, cleanliness, presentation, and hospitality.Monitor bar inventory, stock levels, ordering, storage, and usage.Coordinate suppliers, contractors, maintenance teams, and service providers.Handle customer inquiries, complaints, requests, and service issues professionally.Monitor property maintenance, repairs, cleaning, security, and general facilities services.Conduct regular inspections of bar areas, facilities, equipment, and property spaces.Maintain accurate records of inventory, sales, expenses, maintenance, and property activities.Assist with budgets, expenses, supplier invoices, and operational cost control.Ensure compliance with applicable health, safety, hygiene, licensing, and company requirements.Coordinate maintenance requests and follow up on outstanding issues.Prepare operational, inventory, maintenance, and management reports.Maintain professional relationships with customers, tenants, suppliers, contractors, and internal teams.Identify opportunities to improve bar performance, customer satisfaction, property standards, cost control, and operational efficiency.QualificationsDiploma or Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Property Management, Facilities Management, or a related field.Previous experience in bar management, hospitality, property management, facilities, or a similar role is preferred.Strong knowledge of bar operations, customer service, inventory control, and property administration.Strong leadership, staff-management, communication, and organizational skills.Good understanding of maintenance, facilities, health, safety, and hygiene requirements.Experience coordinating suppliers, contractors, maintenance teams, and service providers.Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple operational priorities.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.Familiarity with POS, inventory, property, or facilities-management systems is advantageous.Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and customer-service abilities.Ability to work flexible hours, weekends, and holidays when required.Professional, reliable, proactive, organized, and service-oriented.
