Role DescriptionA Bar Manager is responsible for overseeing daily bar operations, managing staff, maintaining service standards, and ensuring customer satisfaction and business performance.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee daily bar operations and service activities.Supervise, train, and develop bar staff.Prepare staff schedules, shifts, and daily assignments.Maintain beverage quality, presentation, and service standards.Manage beverage inventory, stock levels, orders, and storage.Coordinate with suppliers and manage purchasing requirements.Monitor sales, costs, wastage, and profitability.Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and company standards.Handle customer feedback, complaints, and service issues.Maintain cleanliness, organization, and professional presentation.Support promotions, events, and special functions.Manage cash handling, POS transactions, and daily sales records.Prepare operational and performance reports.Control operating expenses and improve operational efficiency.Maintain professional and high-quality customer service.QualificationsDiploma or Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Hotel Management, Business Administration, or a related field.Relevant experience in bar, restaurant, or hospitality management.Strong knowledge of beverage operations, customer service, and bar management.Experience supervising, scheduling, and training staff.Good knowledge of inventory, purchasing, and cost control.Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.Knowledge of hygiene, health, safety, and hospitality standards.Proficiency in POS systems and Microsoft Office.Strong organizational and time-management skills.Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.UAE hospitality experience is advantageous.Professional, reliable, organized, proactive, and customer-focused.
