Premium amenities, smart technology, and carefully curated details are tailored to discerning travelers seeking comfort and modern convenience.Role Description The Bar Waiter is responsible for providing attentive, courteous service to guests in the bar and lounge areas, ensuring a welcoming and professional atmosphere. This full-time, on-site role based in Colombo District includes greeting guests, presenting menus, taking orders, and serving beverages and bar snacks in accordance with hotel standards. The Bar Waiter coordinates with the bar and kitchen teams to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders, maintains cleanliness and organization of bar tables and service stations, and processes payments accurately. Daily tasks also involve checking stock levels, supporting basic preparation and garnishing of drinks, and complying with hygiene, safety, and responsible service of alcohol guidelines. The role requires consistent collaboration with colleagues to support special events and provide a high-quality guest experience.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Customer Service skills, including a friendly demeanor, guest focus, and the ability to handle inquiries and concerns professionally.Candidates should possess skills in Food & Beverage and Food Service, with experience in serving drinks and snacks, understanding menus, and following hotel service standards.Candidates should possess solid Communication skills, including clear verbal communication in English (additional languages are an advantage) and effective teamwork with colleagues.Candidates should possess basic Cooking or bar preparation skills, such as assisting with simple food items, drink garnishes, and maintaining food safety practices.Previous experience in a bar, lounge, restaurant, or hotel environment is highly beneficial.Knowledge of responsible alcohol service and local health and safety regulations is an advantage.Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and to stand for extended periods.Professional appearance, reliability, and a positive attitude toward learning and continuous improvement.
