This is an opportunity to make a lasting impact by sharing your industry knowledge, coaching students through their training journey, and preparing them for success in the classroom, clinic, and beyond.What You'll DoAs a Barber Instructor, you will:✅ Deliver engaging classroom and hands-on instruction through demonstrations, lectures, practical activities, assessments, and review sessions✅ Teach barbering curriculum in alignment with Georgia State Board requirements, Milady standards, and Institute policies✅ Coach and mentor students on technical skills, professionalism, guest service, and career readiness✅ Monitor attendance, academic progress, and practical skill development while providing ongoing support and feedback✅ Create a positive, energetic, and motivating learning environment✅ Maintain classrooms and clinic areas in a safe, organized, and State Board inspection-ready condition✅ Support student retention and success through coaching, academic reviews, and intervention planning✅ Participate in school events, professional development, career fairs, and industry networking opportunitiesWhat We're Looking ForCurrent and valid Georgia Barber LicenseValid Instructor LicenseStrong technical knowledge of barbering principles, practices, sanitation, and safety standardsPassion for teaching, coaching, and developing future professionalsExcellent communication, leadership, and classroom management skillsPrior instructional, training, mentoring, or industry leadership experience is preferredWhy Elaine Sterling Institute?For more than two decades, Elaine Sterling Institute has been recognized as a leader in beauty, wellness, and career education.
