This position coordinates work crews, assigns tasks, and supervises the safe and efficient use of heavy equipment and tools. The Barge Foreman ensures that maintenance and repair work is completed on schedule, checks the quality of carpentry and structural work, and enforces safety standards and regulatory requirements. The role involves communicating work instructions clearly, monitoring progress, troubleshooting operational issues, and reporting work status and incidents to site management.QualificationsStrong supervisory skills, including team coordination, task delegation, and performance oversight.Hands-on experience operating or overseeing heavy equipment in marine, construction, or industrial environments.Effective communication skills for giving clear instructions, coordinating with crews, and reporting to management.Practical carpentry skills and familiarity with structural work relevant to barge operations.Maintenance skills for inspecting, troubleshooting, and ensuring the upkeep of equipment and barge facilities.Proven experience in marine, offshore, or construction projects in a foreman or similar supervisory role.Knowledge of safety standards, risk mitigation practices, and compliance with relevant regulations.Ability to work on-site in Abu Dhabi, including flexibility to work shifts or extended hours as required.Relevant technical or vocational certification in marine operations, construction, or a related field is preferred.
