The café provides a comfortable atmosphere with amenities such as wifi and a fireplace, creating a community-focused space for relaxation and conversation.Role Description We are hiring for part or full time positions in both our Ridgefield and Wilton, CT locations including opportunituies for baristas, cashiers, and chef/food preparation duties. Day-to-day tasks include preparing espresso-based drinks and other beverages to recipe standards, scooping and serving gelato, and assembling light food items such as pastries and sandwiches. The role involves operating the register, handling cash and card transactions accurately, and maintaining a clean, organized service and seating area. Team members greet guests, answer menu questions, provide friendly and efficient customer service, restock supplies, and follow food safety and hygiene guidelines throughout their shift.QualificationsCustomer-facing skills: strong Customer Service and Interpersonal Skills to create a welcoming, respectful environment for all guests.Beverage and café skills: Barista experience or interest in learning espresso drink preparation and café operations.Communication skills: clear, professional Communication skills to interact with guests and team members and handle orders accurately.Food handling skills: basic Food Preparation abilities and commitment to food safety and cleanliness standards.Additional qualifications: reliability and punctuality, ability to stand for extended periods, willingness to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and prior café or retail experience is a plus.
