The Barista is responsible for preparing and serving hot and cold coffee beverages, teas, and other drinks according to company recipes and standards. Daily tasks include setting up and cleaning the coffee station, managing ingredients and supplies, handling food preparation for light snacks or baked goods, and operating coffee machines safely and efficiently. The role involves greeting customers, taking orders, processing payments, and ensuring a friendly, efficient service experience. The Barista also supports store cleanliness, follows food safety and hygiene guidelines, and collaborates with team members to maintain smooth operations during peak hours.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Customer Service and Interpersonal Skills to engage positively with diverse customers and team members.Candidates should possess Barista skills, including beverage preparation, coffee machine operation, and basic drink customization.Candidates should possess clear Communication skills to take orders accurately and coordinate effectively with the store team.Candidates should possess Food Preparation skills to safely prepare, handle, and present beverages and light snacks.Basic numeracy for handling cash and POS systems, with attention to detail in orders and inventory.Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.Previous experience in a café, coffee shop, or food service environment is preferred but not mandatory.Fluency in English is required; additional language skills commonly used in Dubai are an advantage.
