The Barista prepares and serves a variety of hot and cold coffee and tea beverages, following Hilton standards for quality, presentation, and safety. The role includes greeting guests, taking orders, processing payments, and providing courteous, efficient service in the café or lobby area. Daily tasks involve maintaining cleanliness of the workstation and equipment, restocking supplies, and assisting with light food preparation such as pastries and snacks. The Barista collaborates with the wider food and beverage team to support a smooth operation and create a welcoming environment for all guests.Qualifications Strong customer service and interpersonal skills to engage positively with guests and team members.Barista skills including beverage preparation, espresso machine operation, and basic food preparation.Effective communication skills to take orders accurately, provide product information, and coordinate with colleagues.Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment, including standing for extended periods and handling multiple tasks.Basic knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and cash handling procedures.Prior experience in a café, restaurant, or hotel barista role is preferred but not mandatory.Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required by hotel operations.Proficiency in English; additional language skills, especially Arabic, are an advantage.
