Barista

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Barista - Specialty Hot Drinks to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of specialty coffee and hot beverage preparation, with a passion for delivering high-quality drinks and exceptional guest experiences.The Barista will be responsible for preparing and serving a range of specialty coffees, signature hot drinks, teas, and other crafted beverages, while maintaining consistency, presentation, and quality throughout service. The successful candidate should be confident working in a high-volume environment and have excellent attention to detail.Key Responsibilities:Prepare and serve high-quality specialty coffee and hot beverages according to established recipes and presentation standardsPrepare espresso-based beverages including espresso, Americano, cappuccino, latte, flat white, macchiato, mocha, and other specialty drinksPrepare and execute signature hot drinks, including seasonal and creative beverage recipesCreate and maintain high-quality latte art where requiredDemonstrate strong knowledge of espresso extraction, milk steaming, texturing, and temperature controlProduce consistent and high-quality drinks while maintaining appropriate speed during busy service periodsPrepare specialty teas, hot chocolate, chai, matcha, and other non-coffee hot beverages as requiredFollow standard recipes, portion sizes, preparation methods, and presentation guidelinesMaintain a clean, organised, and fully stocked barista station throughout serviceOperate and care for espresso machines, grinders, brewing equipment, and other beverage equipment correctlyCarry out daily opening and closing procedures, including equipment cleaning and calibrationMonitor coffee, milk, syrups, garnishes, cups, and other beverage supplies and communicate replenishment requirementsMinimise product waste while maintaining quality and consistencyFollow all food safety, hygiene, health, and safety proceduresEnsure all beverages are presented according to the concept's quality and aesthetic standardsWork closely with the service and kitchen teams to ensure smooth and efficient operationsAssist with the development and testing of new specialty beverages and seasonal drink menus when requiredMaintain a professional appearance, positive attitude, and high level of personal hygiene at all timesRequirements2 years' experience as a Barista in a specialty coffee shop, premium restaurant, hotel, café, or high-end hospitality environmentStrong knowledge of specialty coffee preparation and espresso-based beveragesProven ability to operate and maintain professional espresso machines and grindersStrong milk steaming, texturing, and latte art skillsExperience preparing signature and specialty hot beveragesKnowledge of coffee beans, roast profiles, extraction, and basic coffee brewing principlesGood understanding of food safety and hygiene standardsExcellent customer service and communication skillsAbility to work efficiently under pressure in a high-volume environmentStrong attention to detail and commitment to consistencyProfessional grooming and presentationFluent English communication skills; additional languages are an advantageBarista or specialty coffee certification is preferredAbout The CompanySIHAMCO is a strategic partner operating proudly under the General Entertainment Authority (GEA), National Events Center (NEC), Riyadh Season and Jeddah Season since 2019.At SIHAMCO, we don't just lead Saudi Arabia's hospitality and entertainment evolution—we create it from the ground up.
