The Barista prepares and serves a variety of coffee and other beverages to company standards, ensuring consistent quality and presentation. Responsibilities include operating coffee machines and related equipment, handling food preparation for light snacks or accompaniments, and maintaining a clean, organized work area. The Barista welcomes guests, takes orders, provides product recommendations, and ensures a positive customer experience from order to service. The role also involves following health and safety guidelines, managing stock levels for coffee and related supplies, and collaborating with team members to support smooth daily operations.Qualifications Strong customer-facing abilities, including Customer Service and Interpersonal Skills, with a friendly and professional approach.Proficiency in Barista skills, including beverage preparation, espresso-based drinks, and basic Food Preparation.Effective Communication skills to take orders clearly, explain menu items, and coordinate with team members.Previous experience in a café, restaurant, or hospitality environment is preferred.Ability to stand for extended periods, work shifts, and handle busy service times calmly and efficiently.Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards; barista training or certification is an advantage.Basic math skills for handling cash or POS transactions and attention to detail in order accuracy.Willingness to learn, adapt to operational procedures, and contribute to a positive team culture.
