We're known for our signature cream-filled donuts, specialty coffee, handcrafted pastries, and warm, friendly hospitality.Join the Knotted Australia TeamWe're looking for skilled and enthusiastic Baristas to join our Hyde Park opening team.You'll be responsible for preparing consistently high-quality coffee and beverages while creating a welcoming experience for every guest. We're looking for people who enjoy working in a fast-paced café, take pride in their coffee, and work well as part of a team.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and serve espresso-based coffee, specialty drinks, and other beverages to Knotted standards.Maintain consistency in coffee quality, taste, presentation, and preparation.Dial in espresso and adjust grinders throughout service as required.Provide friendly, efficient, and attentive customer service.Take customer orders and operate the POS system accurately.Maintain a clean and organised coffee station and front-of-house area.Monitor coffee, milk, and beverage stock levels and communicate replenishment needs.Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety procedures.Work closely with the wider store team to ensure smooth and efficient service.Support opening, closing, and general cleaning duties as required.About YouPrevious barista experience in a busy café or specialty coffee environment preferred.Confident with espresso preparation, milk steaming, and basic latte art.Understanding of espresso extraction, grinder adjustment, and coffee quality.Strong customer service and communication skills.Able to work efficiently and maintain quality during busy periods.Friendly, reliable, and positive with a strong team mentality.Good attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean workspace.Passion for coffee, hospitality, and creating a great guest experience.Flexibility to work mornings, weekends, and public holidays as required.Full Australian working rights.What We Offer$28.00 per hour + superannuation.Free staff meals and drinks while working.Employee discounts across eligible Knotted products.Fair and balanced working hours.Training and ongoing development.Career growth opportunities as Knotted continues to expand across Australia.Friendly, supportive, and professional team environment.Opportunity to be part of the Cafe Knotted Hyde Park opening team.Join UsIf you're passionate about coffee, enjoy connecting with customers, and want to be part of an exciting international café brand, we'd love to hear from you.Join Knotted Australia and be part of our Hyde Park opening in October 2026.
