Barista – Starbucks EgyptAbout the RoleAs a Starbucks Barista, you will be at the heart of creating the Starbucks Experience. You will connect with customers, prepare high-quality beverages and food, and work as part of a team to create a welcoming and positive coffeehouse environment.Key Responsibilities- Deliver exceptional customer service and create meaningful connections with every customer.- Welcome customers, understand their needs, and recommend products when appropriate.- Prepare handcrafted beverages, food, and whole-bean coffee according to Starbucks standards and recipes.- Ensure consistency in beverage quality, presentation, and service.- Operate assigned stations effectively while maintaining speed, accuracy, and quality.- Follow Starbucks operational, cash-handling, food-safety, health, and sanitation standards.- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming coffeehouse environment.- Work collaboratively with partners and contribute to a positive team environment.- Support the training and development of new partners through positive reinforcement and teamwork.- Respond positively to customer needs and resolve concerns in line with Starbucks standards.- Demonstrate Starbucks Mission and Values through daily behaviors and interactions.- Maintain a professional appearance and consistent attendance.- Be flexible to perform different tasks and work across different stations during the shift.What We’re Looking For- Passion for coffee and customer service.- Positive, energetic, and welcoming attitude.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.- Ability to learn quickly and follow written and verbal instructions.- Customer-focused mindset with a genuine desire to make every customer feel special.- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.- Commitment to quality, cleanliness, and safety.- Flexibility to work different shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs.Experience & Education- Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, or food & beverage is an advantage.- Fresh graduates and candidates with no previous coffee experience may also be considered, depending on the hiring requirements.- Candidates should demonstrate good communication skills and a willingness to learn.Why Starbucks?Joining Starbucks means becoming part of a culture built around connection, learning, growth, and creating meaningful moments for customers and partners.
