The brand is growing and open to franchise opportunities, reflecting its focus on quality, consistency, and strong customer relationships.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Barista role based at Tea Avenue in Colombo. The Barista will prepare and serve teas, coffees, and other beverages, ensuring consistent quality and presentation. Daily tasks include assisting with food preparation for items such as cakes, sandwiches, and light meals, maintaining a clean and organized work area, and following food safety and hygiene standards. The role involves greeting guests, taking orders, answering questions about menu items, and providing attentive customer service. The Barista will also operate café equipment, handle cash and POS transactions accurately, and collaborate with team members to support smooth café operations.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Customer Service and Interpersonal Skills to create a welcoming and positive guest experience.Candidates should possess Barista skills, including beverage preparation, espresso-based drink making, and basic tea and coffee knowledge.Candidates should possess clear Communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.Candidates should possess Food Preparation skills and an understanding of basic food hygiene and safety practices.Prior experience in a café, restaurant, or hospitality setting is preferred.Ability to stand for extended periods and work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.Reliable time management, attention to detail, and a collaborative team mindset.
