The Barista will prepare and serve a range of coffee and other beverages, handle food preparation for light snacks, and ensure all items meet ZAWITCO’s quality standards. Typical responsibilities include taking customer orders, operating coffee equipment, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, restocking supplies, and handling payments accurately. The Barista will interact with guests, answer questions about menu items, and provide friendly, efficient customer service. The role also involves collaborating with the team, following health and safety guidelines, and supporting opening and closing procedures as needed.Qualifications Strong customer-facing skills, including Customer Service and Interpersonal Skills.Proficiency or interest in Barista skills, including beverage preparation and coffee-making techniques.Clear and professional Communication skills for interacting with customers and colleagues.Basic Food Preparation skills and an understanding of hygiene and safety standards.Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.Reliability, attention to detail, and a positive, team-oriented attitude.Previous experience in a café or hospitality setting is an advantage but not required.Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
