Kongkow Coffee Bali aims to be more than just a hangout spot, serving as a hub for ideas, stories, and new inspiration.Role Description The Barista is responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee, specialty beverages, and light food items while maintaining Kongkow Coffee Bali’s standards for taste, presentation, and hygiene. Day-to-day activities include taking and processing customer orders, operating espresso machines and other equipment, handling food preparation for simple menu items, and ensuring the workspace is clean, organized, and well-stocked. The role includes engaging with guests, answering questions about menu items, and creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere that reflects the cafe’s creative and community-focused identity. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Badung, requiring availability on weekdays, weekends, and peak hours as needed.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Barista skills, including espresso-based drink preparation and basic coffee knowledge.Candidates should possess solid Customer Service and Interpersonal Skills to create a friendly and inclusive environment for all guests.Candidates should possess clear Communication skills for interacting with customers and coordinating with team members.Candidates should possess Food Preparation skills and an understanding of basic food safety and hygiene standards.Additional beneficial qualifications include prior experience in a cafe or hospitality setting, cash-handling skills, reliability in time management, and the ability to stand for extended periods.Basic English language skills and familiarity with Bali’s local cafe culture are advantageous.
