We do that by offering a wide range of home furnishings with good design and function at prices so low that many people will be able to afford them.PurposeTo provide excellent customer service in the Swedish Market & Bistro by preparing and serving food and beverages, processing customer transactions accurately and efficiently, and maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment that enhances the overall customer experience and strengthens IKEA's position as the best home furnishing retailer.Accountabilities: • Welcome customers and provide friendly, professional customer service.• Take customer orders accurately and assist with menu selections.• Prepare and serve coffee, specialty beverages, and other food and beverage items according to IKEA standards.• Process customer transactions accurately using approved payment methods.• Perform cash opening and closing procedures and reconcile the cash drawer. • Maintain accurate sales records and report any cash discrepancies.• Ensure the Swedish Market & Bistro, cashier area, beverage station, and work areas are clean, organized, fully stocked, and ready for customers.• Follow IKEA Food standards and all food safety, hygiene, and health regulations.• Operate coffee machines, food preparation equipment, and point-of-sale systems safely and efficiently.• Promote IKEA Food products and seasonal offers while delivering an excellent customer experience.Qualifications and Experience:• Diploma or higher degree• +2 Years experience• Valid Health card.Competencies: Core Competencies :• Customer Centricity• Willingness to Learn• Adaptability and Agility• Collaboration / Cross-functional Work• InspirationFunctional Competencies:• Customer Service Excellence• Cash Handling and POS Operations• Food & Beverage Preparation• Barista Skills• Food Safety and Hygiene• Order Taking and Processing• Sales and Upselling• Equipment Operation• Time Management
