Barista

Role DescriptionWe are looking for a friendly and passionate Barista to prepare and serve high-quality coffee and beverages while providing excellent customer service. The role is responsible for maintaining consistent drink quality and ensuring a clean, welcoming, and efficient café environment.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and serve coffee, tea, and other hot and cold beverages according to company standards.Operate and maintain coffee machines, grinders, and other beverage equipment.Grind coffee beans and adjust brewing settings to achieve consistent quality.Take customer orders and process payments accurately.Provide friendly and professional customer service.Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the coffee bar, equipment, and work areas.Restock coffee beans, milk, syrups, cups, and other supplies as needed.Monitor the quality, freshness, and presentation of beverages and ingredients.Assist with opening and closing duties, including cleaning and equipment checks.Handle customer enquiries and feedback professionally.Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety procedures.Support other café operations during busy periods when required.QualificationsPrevious experience as a Barista or in a café/restaurant environment is preferred.Basic knowledge of coffee preparation and espresso-making techniques.Good understanding of coffee beans, brewing methods, and beverage preparation is an advantage.Good communication and customer service skills.Friendly, energetic, and positive attitude.Good attention to detail and commitment to beverage quality.Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Responsible, punctual, and willing to learn.Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required.
