Role DescriptionWe are looking for a friendly, skilled, and passionate Barista to prepare quality coffee and beverages while providing excellent customer service. The successful candidate will help maintain smooth café operations and ensure a clean, welcoming environment for customers.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and serve coffee, tea, and other hot and cold beverages according to company standards.Operate espresso machines, coffee grinders, blenders, and other café equipment.Grind coffee beans and adjust brewing settings to maintain consistent coffee quality.Take customer orders and process payments accurately.Provide friendly and professional service to customers.Recommend beverages and assist customers with menu selections when required.Maintain the quality, freshness, presentation, and consistency of all beverages.Keep the coffee bar, equipment, utensils, and work areas clean and hygienic.Monitor and restock coffee beans, milk, syrups, cups, and other supplies.Check stock levels and report shortages or damaged items to the supervisor.Follow proper food handling, hygiene, and safety procedures.Assist with opening and closing duties, including cleaning and equipment checks.Handle customer feedback and complaints professionally.Support the café team during busy periods and perform other duties as assigned.QualificationsPrevious experience as a Barista or in a café, restaurant, or hospitality environment is preferred.Good knowledge of espresso preparation, coffee brewing, and beverage-making techniques.Knowledge of different coffee beans and brewing methods is an advantage.Good customer service and communication skills.Friendly, energetic, and positive personality.Strong attention to detail and commitment to beverage quality.Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Responsible, punctual, and well-presented.Able to work independently and as part of a team.Willing to work shifts, weekends, public holidays, and overtime when required.
