Company Description Martini is Egypt’s leading beverage consultancy, designing high-impact drink programs for restaurants, hotels, and cafés across the MENA region. The company specializes in custom beverage menu development that increases profitability, specialty coffee and tea programs, and end-to-end bar setup and staff training. Martini also provides market research and product sourcing to help clients make data-driven decisions and access premium suppliers. Based in Cairo and serving clients region-wide, Martini offers baristas the opportunity to work with elevated beverage standards and professionally designed beverage experiences.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Barista role located in New Cairo. The Barista will prepare and serve specialty coffee, tea, and other beverages to guests, ensuring consistent quality and presentation aligned with Martini’s standards. Daily responsibilities include operating coffee equipment, handling food and beverage preparation, maintaining cleanliness and organization of the bar area, and following health and safety guidelines. The role also involves engaging with guests, answering product questions, managing orders efficiently, and supporting the team during busy service periods. The Barista will collaborate with supervisors and trainers to continuously improve beverage skills and contribute to an outstanding guest experience.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Barista skills, including beverage preparation, espresso-based drink making, and equipment handling.Candidates should possess solid Customer Service and Interpersonal Skills to create welcoming, respectful interactions and build guest loyalty.Candidates should possess clear Communication skills to handle orders accurately, coordinate with team members, and share product information with guests.Candidates should possess Food Preparation skills and an understanding of hygiene and safety standards for beverages and light food items.Previous experience in a café, coffee shop, or hospitality environment is highly beneficial.Ability to stand for extended periods, work flexible shifts, and perform in a fast-paced environment.Basic English language skills are preferred; additional languages are a plus.Commitment to punctuality, teamwork, and continuous learning in specialty coffee and beverage service.
