The Barista is responsible for preparing and serving coffee, tea, and other beverages to consistent quality standards, as well as handling basic food preparation such as pastries or light snacks. Daily tasks include welcoming guests, taking orders, operating coffee machines and related equipment, maintaining a clean and organized work area, and ensuring products are presented in a professional manner. The role also involves managing cash or point-of-sale transactions, restocking supplies, and following health, safety, and hygiene guidelines. The Barista works closely with team members to provide efficient, friendly service and contribute to a positive customer experience.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Barista skills, including beverage preparation, equipment operation, and basic food preparation.Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service and Interpersonal Skills to engage courteously and professionally with guests.Candidates should possess solid Communication skills to take orders accurately, coordinate with team members, and follow instructions.Relevant experience in a café, restaurant, or hospitality environment is highly beneficial.Ability to stand for extended periods, work shifts, and handle fast-paced service times.Knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and safe handling procedures is an advantage.Basic math skills and familiarity with point-of-sale or cash handling processes are preferred.Willingness to learn, follow company procedures, and contribute to a respectful, inclusive workplace.
