The Barista prepares and serves a variety of Starbucks beverages and food items according to company recipes and quality standards, while maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Daily responsibilities include welcoming customers, taking orders, operating the point-of-sale system, handling payments, and ensuring prompt, friendly service. The role also involves restocking supplies, following food safety and cleanliness guidelines, and supporting store operations such as opening, closing, and shift transitions. Baristas collaborate with team members and store leadership to create a positive store atmosphere and uphold Starbucks’ brand and mission.Qualifications Strong Customer Service and Interpersonal Skills to engage warmly with customers and work effectively with team members.Barista and Food Preparation skills to craft beverages and food items consistently and safely.Clear Communication abilities to take orders accurately, share product information, and coordinate with colleagues.Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and move items, and work in a fast-paced environment.Reliability in attendance, time management, and following operational and safety procedures.Prior experience in retail or food service is beneficial but not required; on-the-job training is provided.Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
