The Barista prepares and serves coffee, specialty drinks, and a selection of food items according to company recipes and standards. Daily tasks include operating coffee equipment, handling food preparation, maintaining a clean and organized workstation, and ensuring that the bar and seating areas meet hygiene and safety guidelines. The Barista welcomes guests, takes orders, processes payments, answers questions about the menu, and provides attentive, friendly customer service throughout each shift. The role also involves restocking supplies, collaborating with the team during busy periods, and supporting overall restaurant operations as needed.Qualifications Strong customer-focused skills, including Customer Service and Interpersonal Skills, to create a welcoming environment and respond effectively to guest needs.Barista experience or skills in coffee preparation, drink crafting, and basic understanding of coffee equipment and techniques.Clear and professional Communication skills for interacting with guests, colleagues, and supervisors.Food Preparation abilities, including safe handling of ingredients, basic kitchen hygiene, and following recipes accurately.Ability to work on-site in Sidi Bou Said, stand for extended periods, and manage peak service times with a positive attitude.Attention to detail, reliability, and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and quality standards.Previous experience in a café, restaurant, or hospitality setting is preferred but not required.Basic proficiency in relevant languages (such as Arabic, French, or English) is an advantage.
