Working at FIKA Cafe offers the opportunity to develop skills in specialty coffee, hospitality, and customer care within a supportive environment.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Barista role based at FIKA Cafe in Dammam. The Barista will prepare and serve coffee and other beverages, handle basic food preparation, and ensure that all items meet the cafe’s quality standards. Daily tasks include operating espresso machines, taking and processing orders, handling payments, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace. The role involves greeting guests, answering questions about the menu, and providing friendly, efficient customer service throughout each shift. The Barista will also restock supplies, follow food safety and hygiene guidelines, and collaborate with team members to support smooth cafe operations.Qualifications Candidates should possess Barista skills, including espresso preparation, drink crafting, and basic coffee brewing techniques.Candidates should possess Customer Service and Interpersonal Skills to interact positively with guests and work well within a team.Candidates should possess strong Communication skills to take orders accurately, share product information, and coordinate with colleagues.Candidates should possess Food Preparation skills and an understanding of basic food safety and hygiene practices.Additional beneficial qualifications include prior experience in a cafe or hospitality setting, ability to stand for extended periods, and basic cash-handling skills.Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed, and proficiency in English (Arabic language skills are an advantage).
