About Pedal Cafe:Pedal Café is the first retro mobile BIKE cafe in the Philippines. Unlike other traditional coffee shops, Pedal Cafe is known for its flexibility to operate anywhere and even have coffee delivered to your doorstep. With its affordable pricing, coffee can be enjoyed anytime, anywhere. As we open our newest branch in Parañaque, we are looking for energetic, coffee-loving Baristas to join our founding team and help us build a local hub for coffee enthusiasts.

Job Description

As a Barista at Pedal Cafe, you will be the face of our new branch. You will craft exceptional beverages, deliver warm customer service, and maintain a clean, inviting shop environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Craft Quality Beverages: Prepare and serve specialty coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and signature beverages according to our quality standards.- Deliver Warm Hospitality: Greet customers, take accurate orders, handle cash/digital payments, and provide recommendations with a friendly attitude.- Maintain Shop Standards: Keep the bar, seating area, and equipment clean, sanitized, and well-stocked throughout the day.- Manage Inventory: Monitor stock levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and pastries, and report shortages to the supervisor.- Support the Team: Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak morning and afternoon rushes.

Qualifications

• Experience: Proven experience as a Barista or in a fast-paced food and beverage/hospitality environment is preferred (but passionate beginners are welcome to apply!).- Skills: Strong communication, active listening, and basic math skills for handling transactions.- Attributes: Reliable, punctual, and capable of working well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.- Flexibility: Willingness to undergo training and work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.- Location: Residing in or near Parañaque is a major plus.
