Barista Hybrid

Role DescriptionThis is a full-time hybrid role for a Barista at INTELLECT Coffee Roastery. The Barista will be responsible for food preparation, customer service, and maintaining a high standard of communication with customers. This role is located in Dubai but candidates will require to travel and work in other Emirates as we deal with Events all over UAE.QualificationsBarista and Food Preparation skillsStrong Communication and Interpersonal SkillsExperience in Customer ServiceAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and work under pressureKnowledge of coffee and espresso beveragesAttention to detail and cleanliness is a requirementBasic knowledge of coffee equipment maintenanceExtremely time flexible with working hoursResponsibilitiesEmphasis on customer service, focusing on customer retention and satisfaction.Assisting and taking part in events held by the company in public and private areas.Follow SOPs related to drinks preparation and menusFollow SOPs for POS & cash handlingFollow SOPs for catering services through various channels (car, kiosks and trolley set ups )Delivery of products when / if neededMaintain a clean and neat work environment with immaculate presentation of bar area, trolleys and carOrganizing and maintaining stock par levelsAttending clients’ inquiries and making drinks as per their order/requestMaintain client database and contact previous clients for re-booking services.Effectively pushing new products launched by the brand.Being enthusiastic and passionate for the brand, capable to promote the business to different clientsParticipate in marketing and advertising segments for the brandParticipate in the R&D process to create new drinks or menusStay updated with industry trends to continually improve design skills and knowledgeRequirementsHighly skilled barista with excellent drink construction/latte art skillsUAE Driving LicenseExcellent communication skills both verbal and writtenBasic MS Office knowledgeBe enthusiastic about coffee and eager to share their excitement with othersBe a team player, willing to take direction/constructive criticismHave professional and well-groomed presentation
