Working at The Amore Surat offers opportunities to grow in a premium hospitality environment.Role Description The Barista (Lateral) is a full-time, on-site role based in Surat, responsible for preparing and serving a range of hot and cold beverages, including specialty coffees and teas, in line with The Amore’s quality standards. Day-to-day tasks include operating coffee equipment, handling food preparation for light snacks or accompaniments, maintaining cleanliness of the bar and service areas, and ensuring proper stock of ingredients and supplies. The Barista will interact with guests, take orders, provide recommendations, and deliver consistent, courteous customer service. The role also involves coordinating with the service and kitchen teams during events, following hygiene and safety guidelines, and supporting the overall guest experience in the boutique banquet setting.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Barista skills, including beverage preparation, equipment handling, and basic food preparation.Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service and Interpersonal Skills to create a welcoming, guest-focused environment.Candidates should possess clear Communication skills for interacting with guests and collaborating with team members.Hospitality or café experience, especially in premium or boutique environments, is beneficial.Ability to stand for extended periods, work flexible hours, and follow food safety and hygiene standards is required.Basic knowledge of coffee varieties, brewing methods, and non-alcoholic beverage service is an advantage.
