Barista / Senior Barista

We are looking for passionate, friendly, and responsible Barista / Senior Barista to join our team.Role DescriptionPrepare and serve high-quality coffee, beverages, and other menu items according to company standards.Operate espresso machines, grinders, and other coffee equipment safely and efficiently.Prepare espresso-based drinks, brewed coffee, tea, and other beverages consistently.Maintain high standards of beverage quality, presentation, and consistency.Provide friendly, professional, and efficient customer service.Take customer orders, process payments, and operate the POS system accurately.Recommend beverages and assist customers with menu selections when required.Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and organization of the café and work areas.Monitor coffee, milk, ingredients, and other supplies and report stock requirements.Assist with stock receiving, storage, inventory checks, and daily preparation.Follow proper food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety procedures.Handle customer feedback, enquiries, and complaints professionally.Support daily café operations and ensure smooth service during busy periods.For Senior Barista, train, guide, and support junior baristas to maintain beverage and service standards.Assist with opening and closing procedures and daily café operations where required.Ensure coffee machines, grinders, tools, and other equipment are properly cleaned and maintained.Assist management in achieving sales targets and improving customer satisfaction.Stay updated with coffee trends, brewing techniques, and new beverage concepts.Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned by management.QualificationsPrevious experience as a Barista, Senior Barista, Café Crew, or similar position is preferred.Good knowledge of coffee preparation, espresso, brewing methods, and beverage making.Experience operating professional coffee machines and grinders.Strong passion for coffee, hospitality, and customer service.Previous experience in training or guiding junior baristas is an advantage for Senior Barista.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Friendly, positive, and professional attitude.Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.Good understanding of café operations, stock control, and service standards.Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Responsible, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.Relevant barista, coffee, or hospitality certification is an advantage.
